this series was painted for a show happening January 2017 at Culture Brewery in Encinitas. The focus is an appreciation of each and every moment, for they will never recur. The show takes this one step further by showing scenes that would never occur in nature, ever. For example there are abalone crawling up eucalyptus trees, birds feeding fish, as well as scenes from nature that are too microscopic or elusive for the human eye to appreciate, like an ant riding a barrel cactus flower in a wind storm.
